Course Overview
This course introduces participants to the role of the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) in emergency management systems. Participants will learn how to design and organise an EOC; how exercises are used to develop, practice, and evaluate Plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SPOs); and the interface between the EOC and the Incident Command System. Hands-on simulation exercises give participants an opportunity to apply the knowledge learnt in the course and strengthen their skills.
