The CDEMA Regional Training Center
Established in 2015 with the endorsement of the CDEMA Council of Ministers, the CDEMA Regional Training Centre (RTC) builds capacity for Comprehensive Disaster Management within CDEMA Participating States and sets standards for CDM capabilities, through multi-stakeholder collaboration and engagement.
ABOUT CDEMA
The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) is a regional inter-governmental agency for disaster management in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Its primary responsibility is the coordination of emergency response and relief efforts to its 20 Participating States, as such assistance is required. The Agency also fully embraces the principles and practice of Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM).
OUR TRAINING
The CDEMA Regional Training Centre offers online, blended and in-person training that builds capabilities in emergency operations, disaster risk reduction and resilience-building and strategic programme management for Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM). Learning opportunities include Instructor-led Training, self-directed study and informal learning activities. Training can be developed and customised to suit the beneficiaries’ needs.
