According to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami, Florida, as of 5:00 PM (AST) on August 25, 2019, the center of Tropical Storm Dorian was located near latitude 11.5 North, longitude 54.2 West. Dorian is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h). The estimated minimum central pressure 1003 mb. Maximum sustained winds are 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from the centre.
