SITUATION OVERVIEW
An advisory by the UWI Seismic Research Centre on May 10th 2021 at 6:00PM reported the following:
- Seismic activity at La Soufrière, St Vincent has remained low since the tremor associated with the explosion and ash venting on 22 April.
- In the last 24 hours, only a few long-period earthquakes have been recorded.

A News Release issued from the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) on May 6th 2021 reported the following:
- The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has lowered the volcanic alert level at La Soufrière to ORANGE based on the advice of Scientists from the Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies.
- The recommendation was made given that there have been no explosions at the volcano since April 22 and the number of volcanic earthquakes recorded has also decreased significantly.

- Seismic activity at La Soufrière, St Vincent has remained low since the tremor associated with the explosion and ash venting on 22 April.
- In the last 24 hours, only a few long-period, hybrid and volcano-tectonic earthquakes have been recorded and there was no further tremor.

- Only a few long-period, hybrid and volcano-tectonic earthquakes were recorded and there was no further tremor.
