The Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM) is celebrating seven (7) years as the signature disaster management event in the region.

This year the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), in collaboration with the Office for Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPEM) and its partners will host the Conference under the theme “CDM: Building Disaster Resilience - A Shared Responsibility” at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa, Montego Bay, Jamaica from December 3 - 7, 2012.

The CDM Conference is the region’s largest gathering of professionals in the field of disaster risk management and professionals from sectoral and thematic fields and is structured to promote good practice, and share ongoing research. The structure also charts the way forward for the advancement of CDM in the Caribbean, and provides a unique and exciting opportunity for disaster management stakeholders to network and share perspectives.
